Storytelling for effective learning
Following are a few presentations as well as animations designed for the University of Essex and its partner organisation YUFE.
In the world of today with ever lower attention spans, it is imperative that when we present any information it breaks through that barrier. Our communication/presentations need to be concise, engaging and useful. In all these videos I have tried to make the slides as visual as possible supporting the voiceover instead of competing against it for attention creating an effective communication tool.
These were designed and animated using either Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote for the most part alongwith other design softwares.

A static presentation was redesigned as an animation for an introduction to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion course conducted by YUFE at the University of Essex.
I edited the script alongwith the SME to make it animation appropriate before doing the storyboarding, illustration and animation.
This introduction animation was designed, illustrated and animated entirely on Apple Keynote along with matching everything to a voiceover.
This video presentation was part of a course for anyone visiting the campus whether they are students, staff or external individuals to inform and empower them to be active bystanders.
The presentations in this course were designed to make them engaging by supporting text and voice with relevant visual aides.
The video was designed for teachers to convey the importance of taking care of their voice and how to go about it. The SME had a presentation which she felt wasn't being very effective. I reworked the content to make it animation friendly, did the storyboarding, illustration and animation to create a seamless and engaging storytelling.
This animation was illustrated in Procreate and then animated in Apple Keynote.
This animation was developed based on an existing presentation made by a lecturer during a conference at the university. Due to this it has a more slide based narrative.
This was part of a suite of online courses on teaching & learning in higher education. This was made using Keynote and Premiere Pro.
